I started as an intern in the HR department of an Aegon subsidiary, TKP Pensions. It was a great experience and there was as good click from both sides. Following my internship I was asked to stay on due to the company's rapid expansion. With just a small team, we filled 120 vacancies in six months time.
Following this experience, I became curious about the parent company, Aegon, and decided to do a second internship there. I carried out research into the factors which affect job mobility. It was positively received, and as a result I've been employed as a Corporate Recruiter since 2016. In this role, I'm responsible for the entire recruitment process for Aegon in Leeuwarden.
Bringing people in touch with each other and improving and updating processes are what motivate me. Because of this I'm regularly involved in projects relating to digitisation and analysis.
