Aegon Global Technology (AGT) provides IT infrastructure and application support services to the Aegon businesses. AGT is responsible for the provisioning, support and ongoing maintenance of IT operating platforms, applications and services. Additional AGT responsibilities include providing IT infrastructure solutions that are in alignment with business objectives and the AGT technology strategy.

As part of the Workforce Management branch of AGT, the Identity Management team provides services, both technical and process oriented, across provisioning, entitlement review and infrastructure components. The Identity Management teams are made up of infrastructure support and tooling, client security, application security, and operations security administration. The teams have members located in the US, Hungary and the Netherlands. AGT manages and controls the internal identities for a majority of the Aegon/TA business units.

This position will lead the managers of the individual staff of the Identity Management teams. The teams noted were previously in multiple AGT pillars. Through a recent AGT re-structuring the identity focused teams have come together within Workforce. The goal of bringing the teams together is to have a common vision, strategy, and roadmap. The execution of the roadmap will be the top priority for this leadership position. AGT manages and controls the internal identities for a majority of the Aegon/TA business units. Common technology and processes across the Aegon environment are critical to maintaining a secure and compliant environment. This purpose of this position is to provide leadership, working across the organization to automate processes, leverage technology and innovation and standardize.


  • Directs the development and implementation of integrated IT initiatives to support business strategies.
  • Provide strategic analysis of business requirements; identifying linkages and opportunities across the enterprise.
  • Effectively facilitates discussions with stakeholders and leaders to drive out clear business requirements for complex, unclear or large-scale business problems.
  • Evaluates and implements identity technologies as deemed necessary to enhance service offerings and end user experience.
  • Recommends system modernization and/or modifications to enhance service offerings and end user experience.
  • Creates an integrated IT strategy and plan to support multiple business units, which may include analyzing new emerging technologies and translating implications of the new technology into an effective integrated IT strategy.
  • Provides enabling technologies that make it easier for customers and suppliers to do business as well as increase end customer experience.
  • In conjunction with the teams, identify processes that can be automated through the use of existing or new tools, innovation or process review which will improve efficiencies, compliance and/or security best practices.
  • Ensures that customers receive appropriate and timely communications.
  • Oversees resource planning and workload scheduling associated with a high performance teams.
  • Participates in strategic planning and decision-making for the organization.
  • Directs management activities and initiatives; leads managers, as well as consultants and professional staff as necessary.
  • Interacts and communicates frequently with management, providing thorough feedback and excellent recommendations.
  • Coaches and mentors staff and aligns the team to a common vision.


  • Qualified candidates must demonstrate leadership skills such as motivating team members, coaching, and developing staff members.
  • Candidate must be able to interact effectively with the business unit executives and AGT senior leaders, and all levels of management.
  • Excellent decision making skills and strong customer focus is required.
  • Managerial experience in large-scale, high-volume, and complex environments preferred.
  • A bachelor degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent work experience is required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience desired.

Working Conditions

  • Periodic travel to/from US to/from Hungary may be required.
  • Non-standard work hours may be required at times.

Salary Guidelines:


$112,000 - $149,000 - $185,000

Expected Starting Salary Range:  $119,200 - $163,900

*This position is also eligible for an incentive bonus

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Expected Starting Salary Range:  £52,880 - £72,710
